Derek's second email...

Ok so last week i was with stansfield and we were messing around and when it came time for dinner we got back to our rooms so we could shower, but as i was in the shower my roomates left so i was locked out of my room! Wow so my real companion Mazzaferro has really bad gas, like 24/7 bad horrible! Christmas eve was ok Neil Anderson came to talk to us! And then later on the Mission Presidency talked about christmas, all they talked about was not to be homesick and have a good christmas! Christmas was a downer though the food stunk everyone was off cuz of the holiday so we had sack lunches that were made the day before! L. Tom Perry came to talk though, and i had lunch with him, we talked it was kinda cool i guess! Present packages... um yeah I got Aunt Michelles but no one elses, oh well! The rest came on monday! We had a talent show on christmas too, way fun! Muy favorite were the human bagpipe people! they made a bagpipe band with their throats! Christmas night we had greg olsen come talk, that was an amazing talk he talked about how he puts himself in the mindset to draw christ! 1:00 in the morning of the 26th i woke up with a 102.8 fever... took some tylenol and went back to bed, it was way worst int he morning so i was taken to the hospital, they didnt know what it was, i had nausea, sore throat and bad headache along with my fever! So i have been sick pretty much sense then. I have been seeing the mtc doctor has done some test on me we dont know whats up! I think itas nothing i havent had a fever sense sunday, monday night was the last time i threw up. i just have a soar throat! So i spend most of my time in the room, however that gets way boring so i have been attending as much as possible because i dont want to get behind! we got 4 inches of snow last night! way cool built a snowman today, i know i am sick but really it just feels like my throat is dry nothing else and the room is boring, dont worry about me i will be fine! I wish ihad the snow boots, hopefully mom will send them to me my monday! well love you all! tell next pday! Dont now when pday in canada is but i will let you know!
